This doesn't look fishy to me:?
Rajon Rondo, Kentucky's leading scorer, drives a 2006 Yukon Denali (typically sold for about $50,000) registered in state records to former UK starter Derek Anderson, who now plays for the NBA's Houston Rockets.

Okay, smack is smack, but could we PLEASE not get this kind of thread going? Talking smack about games is one thing, but there's no need to try and dredge up a conspiracy. :nada:

No kidding... besides there is no conspiracy here... read the article a little more carefully and it will tell you that... totally checks out...

I suppose you just forget to post the articles sub-headline? Oversight?

I didn't write the article. The Lexington Herald Leader did. Why would they print such an article if they didn't think it was news worthy? By the way, I read the entire article. I wish I could drive a $50,000.00 vehicle.

Let me change that, I wish I could drive someone else's $50,000.00 car. Wonder who's paying for Rondo's insurance?

I'll try this one more time..

Look, I'm not a moderator and not trying to be, but I've been on this forum long enough to know when a thread has too much potential to get out of hand. There is no conspiracy, problem, or whatever name you want to put to it.

Please, for the sake of keeping things civil, let it go.

Your Mom.

Wow, now that's original. I bet your dad could beat up his dad too. He's is rubber and you are glue. I know you are but what is he? Cats rule Cards Drool. Shut doesn't grow up, trees do, take my advice and you shut up too. Cats go to mars to get candy bars, Cards go to jupiter to get more stupider.

Thanks, you brought back memories of childhood.

I guess you need to call the Lexington Herald-Leader to see if they will pull the story. They deemed it to be newsworthy. Why wouldn't we? I'm sure there wouldn't be a peep out of the UK fans if this was a UofL player, would they?

CN, you're missing my point. I don't care who wrote the story or who printed it. YOU didn't have to post the link, did you? Who was twisting your arm? I'm just saying it has too much potential to cause problems.

But, since apparently it's important to you, stir the potall you want. I'm done with this thread.

I'm stirring the pot by bringing up a subject that's in a major Kentucky newspaper?
It's being discussed on every message board I've been on, including the Main BasketballPage On this very website. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it will go away.

If you have any daughters, make sure that they are checked often. It runs in our family. My sister was only 40 years old when they discovered a cancerous tumor in her ovaries. She had obsolutely no symptoms whatsoever. They told her she had less than 2 years to live, but that was 16 years ago, and she is still with us. She still suffers from the results of the chemo, but the doctors say she is cancer free, and the only explanation is a "miracle". I know this is off topic, but it's important that women know how devastating this disease can be. If caught early, they can treat it.

I will post one more time just to clarify something so there'll be no misunderstanding. Humor me on this one..

I know this kind of topic comes up from time to time and usually some player from one of our two schools is mentioned. It's great fodder for smack boards like this one, but at the same time, as someone who who from time to timevisits the sites of schools we both would rather do without (Duke and NC), I've seensimilar topics on those boardsstart off innocently enough and then turn bitter and nasty to the point of being ridiculous. We've all reached a pretty healthy understanding on this board and I just didn't want things to get out of hand, that's all.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know where I'm coming from. I won't make a comment on the topic directly, because from reading the article (and I did read it), it's a non-issue. But you all have a ball with it if that's what you want it.

I'm done.
