What would be the Donovan expectations?

With what will probably be a jump in salary, I would think most of you Donovan supporters would expect a final four in 4 years, and a national championship in 6 years. Those seem kind of steep, but I would think if that doesn't happen his feet will be in the fire.

Well, he would certainly have a lot of hype coming at him. I would say the majority would want him in the Final Four within two to three years, if we were to get those potential recruits this season.

My personal expectations would be to field a team each season that, come March, stands as good a chance as any and a better chance than most of winning it all. An exception would be granted for a season which follows a very successful season and results in mass talent departure.

Pretty much the same thing I expected out of Tubby Smith. And pretty much the same thing Tubby Smith provided until something changed during these last two seasons.

But overall fan expectations will probably be near-immediate final fours and a championship or two within those first six years. Brutal. :shock:

Mine would be to pickup a summer basketball magazine and see UK as one of the teams "in the hunt". A return to the top-10 and exciting basketball and recruiting.

Billy can get it done here like no one ever has!

I agree.....I do not have set criteria or a deadline for reaching the FF adn winning a championship. I just want to have that chance every year and when he wins one, i'll be happy
