If its Crean or Izzo we need to look for a new AD.

All speculation at this point folks, but I haven't seen what Crean has done to warrant the head coaching position at UK.

I have to be honest, I wasn't sure who Crean was until I heard his name mentioned as a potential UK coach.

Crean is probably my least favorite Eric Clapton vehicle. Dorrick and the Doninos is more my speed.

Yes he should. He would wilt in the spotlight of any high profile program IMO.

Let's take a quiz:
How many NCAA Tournament games has Tom Crean won without Dwayne Wade on his roster?
Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun
Answer is...
ZERO
How many times has he been to the NCAA Tournament since Wade graduated? Twice.
And to make it worse, Crean truly got lucky with Wade. Wade was being recruited by NO ONE. I think the only other big school recruiting him was DePaul.
NO WAY he should even be mentioned for this job.

If it turns out to be either Izzo or Cream we are in for more of the same slow down style that we have had for the past ten seasons. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. If the AD is seriously considering these guys we are in a whole lot of trouble. Izzo has had many 10 lost seasons, Cream caught lighting in a bottle with Wade a few years ago but from what I have seen he prefers a slower tempo too. As for Coach Few I know he took a mid- major and built them into a semi-power but no team in his conference would be a winner in the SEC on a yearly basics. This is just my opinion but if MB hires one of these guys and they do not deliver we will be looking for a new AD very soon; so be very careful Mitch! :(

Don't worry we're not going to get Mark Few. He'll take over the Oregon job as soon as Ernie Kent takes the Michigan job.

Having Tom Crean as the new coach might be as bad as having Hilary Clinton as the next president.

I thought that too with all his Detroit players, but didn't know Oregon was his alma mater.
And Few is really good friends with Oregon's AD.
Yeah, I knew Kent was a former Duck. Didn't know Few was until a few months ago.
