SI reports that Arkansas has offered its open coaching position to someone that isn't being named yet. In any case it could mean another name from Plan B could be gone.

This isn't 1995. Arkansas isn't that great a job anymore. It's obvious that the AD is insane, and despite the fact that he's retiring, who's to say the next AD is better?

Me thinks that any of our top candidates would have the pull to make AR wait until our search plays out.

Also, if Donovon is a done deal, then why did Barnhart hire a search firm? So if a guy like Gillespi was thinking of AR as a move because UK was already filled, then today's news on the search firm might signal otherwise. Lots of possibilities here, but I don't think AR can take one of our top candidates as of today.
