Do we root for Florida?

Most agree we want Billy.

Is our cause better served if they win or if they lose?

If they lose, we get a shot at hima couple of days sooner but perhaps he feels loyalty to Florida for not bringing home the bacon.

If they win, almost sure five of top six players are gone and he can leave Florida on a great note.

Is either or neither to our advantage?

I see the second FL Championship as an advantage to UK, since I believe that Billy Donovan is so full of integrity. He would prefer to leave FL with a Championship. Regardless, I hope he would come to Kentucky as coach anyway.

Dang it, I'd normally root for an SEC team but I just don't like Noah, its unreasonable I know but for some reason the young man rubs me the wrong way, I'm pushing for Ohio State.

If Kentucky is not playing them, I always root for the SEC school. Their success keeps the SEC as the top basketball AND football conference in the country!

Well I want anyone but UCLA........ I want either Florida or Ohio state to win it all. And if It werent for Noah's ..... shaking the sh*t off his fingers antics would be solely pulling for the SEC school as I always do. Isnt Noahs scoring that people dont like it is his childish antics.

I'm pretty much SEC loyal. The best scenario for me would be for Florida to win but with Noah fouling outearly in the second half without any points, and BD coming to UKcarrying with himthe momentum of his second national championship.

Guys, let me re-phrase the question.

In regard to getting Coach Donovan ONLY, is it better that Florida wins the National Title or not?

I tend to think it improves our chances of getting Billy if he wins it--and walks out with his head held high.

My only question is how that affects KENTUCKY getting Billy.

Will have very little effect. IMHO. Florida has had a very good season win or lose. And next year would be even harder to get back after hopefully 5 or 6 of Floridas players leave.

I wish Billy all the best, but I just can't stand his players. Noah (of course), Brewer, Horford, Humphrey. Taurean Green is cool I guess. If only there were some way...

I think you have to root for FL, they are in the SEC. For years its always been the ACC, or the Big 10, even now I hate when CBS carries a KY game or any SEC game because they are hell bent on being agiast the SEC. The SEC has become the new power house Conference in College Basketball and the sports writers can't stand it! JMO,

I always pull for FL when we don't play them....unless they are playing UL, then I pull for UL.
