Magloire

Just ran into Jamaal Magloire at the bookstore I work at. Talked to him for a bit. Nice guy.

He is an awesome guy. I was at UK when he was there. When the SEC Tournament was in New Orleans about five years ago, the Hornets were playing at Miami on a Saturday night. Wouldn't you know it - I ran into him on Bourbon Street at 2 a.m. and he was as cordial as could be. Plus, he does alot for the Toronto community per his website.

I always thought it was humorous that when he threw the ball at Dunleavy a couple years ago, people took up a collection to pay his fine.

Back in the day when I lived on campus I used to pick up my buddy from work at Jimmy Johns on campus. Sometimes I would show up a bit early and get a free sandwich. Couple of times I saw Magloire there and I was amazed at the size of that dudes hands.

Note to New Coach: Recruit someone with Magloires fire, fans love it!!

Yeah, his hands were huge. Heck, and my hands arent' small by any means, but i was still amazed.

Probably helped him block all those shots.:lol:
