Just to qualify my name I graduated from the University of Florida last May and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Kentucky. I came here because of the amazing pharmacy school (#3 in the country). I understand the excitement over Coach Donovan he is tremendous in both basketball and in life. If Kentucky gets him it will be because of the tradtition and the fact that he will be the big man on campus. The money will be met by UF for one reason FOOTBALL! UF makes 8-9 times the money off the football team than UK does off their basketball every year and therefore the athletic department has the money to pay him whatever they need too. That said, I do not see them paying him more than Urban Meyer either. Either way, UK or UF, I will support Billy Donvoan because he deserves it, he has earned it. Congrats if you get him because not only will you get a great coach but and even better teacher that will demand excellance from his players both on and off the court.

shoot me a link that shows the income statements etc. of UF Football versus UK Basketball, I'd like to compare the two.- thanks
