I keep reading that Billy is holding out an answer to UK only for repsect to listen to their offer because he respects them so much. But that may be all, just listen and return to UF.

Well.....................After having a few drinks after all the coach searching stress........

Wouldn't it be more respectful for Billy to deny any interest in the job as early as possible, so UK could go hard after the most high profile coach out there that is not named Billy D? I know he has a lot on his mind at the moment, but if he respects the program as much as publicly stated (and I believe he probably does), I think he would have contacted UK in a private matter at least to say, "Hey, I am not interested, get hot and heavy on the big time hire that is available."

With that said, after hearing and reading all I have, I don't even think any private conservation like that has occurred, so I am still holding out major hope!

Am I crazy? :?

I just don't think he wants to think about it one way or the other until after mon. at least. If I was him, I'd probably be the same way.

Even Pitino told C.M. that he was only focused on the NBA Eastern Finals and that C.M. should talk to P.J. at Seton Hall, C.M. did and came back to Rick when the season was over.

You're right- Billy is very inticed by what UK could do for him. Let's face it, he can be the MAN at Florida or he can be the MAN at the winnigest and most prestigious program in history.

You could be managing the best run WalMart in the country....happy and secure, but if Saks 5th Avenue says they want you to run their store....you take the job.

If he's not interested the easiest thing to do would be to say "I'm not interested" therefore by not saying that he's not interested he'sactually acknowedging he IS interested. Comprende'?
