I was reading Few's bio and while it looks sparkling to the eye, I noticed he replaced Don Monson, who had gone to rebuild Minnesota and obviously did not as he was replaced with Tubby.
Another thing about Few that concerned me was the fact he spent 10 years on the Zags bench- most great assistants get some type of head job in that time.
I heard Few's name today in several media rumors- I'm worried.
I will say that he is the fastest coach ever to win 200 games and has won over 80% of his games.

Yeah, but alot of those ten years were spent as the associate head coach, not just an assistant. He was being groomed to take over once Monson left. I'm not sure he would have taken a head coaching job anywhere else, and I'm sure alot of schools saw the title Associate Head Coach and thought "what's the point in asking?"

He plays in a terrible conference its not hard to win a lot of games when ur playing in high school gyms. He is not ready to take the step to UK IMO he needs to coach in a major conference and prove he can get it done at a higher level JMO.

Few doesn't deserve a serious look IMHO. He's never been outside the Pacific Northwest, West Coast area. He's just now landed his first McD's AA to Gonzaga. He's a lowkey guy in a lowkey league.
We need a coach who can withstand the fan/media scrutiny and knows his way around the entire country for recruiting. (Although I'm also high on Gillespi who doesn't have a single non-TX kid on his roster). Anyway, we need a coach who can out-recruit Roy and K and Calhoun regularly. Few isn't that coach, again IMHO.
