This thing looks like something I would love to see. It has a glass floor so you can see below you too. You have to wear booties over your shoes while on it.

Wow, I've walked in it andon the edge of it but never on top of it. That is something I look forward to doing.
Neat video.

The Grand Canyon was my wife's favorite place and we did four incredible backpacking trips to the river...I've read quite a bit about this and will probably walk on it someday but did you know it will cost $75 to do so...$50 to get into the park and $25 for fifteen minutes on the platform.

We know anyone retired from the government can afford it easy.

BTW, when does it cost $50 to get into GC? Was all over UT parks in 05 & don't recall that much.

:cool:I believe this is called Grand Canyon West and it is on a reservation so it is not part of the National Park System...it's a ways west from Grand Canyon Village.

A couple of quotes frequently heard at the Sky Walk:
"Uh, no thanks, I'll be in the car."
"Excuse me, sir, exactly how much do you weigh?"

No thanks. I love the GC, but this gal won't do the sky walk. There aren't enough blue martinis in the canyon for me to go out there.

That's the one I'll have copyrighted.
Heights are a no-no for this cat. Only time I leave the ground is in an airplane. Even then I can't sit in a window seat.

:cool:Where's your sense of adventure...I'll hold your martini and we can do the Wildcat cheer from mid-air :cool:That would be a neat place for an herbal experience.
