The Cats seem to be very up-tight early on. I'd rather see that than a lackadaisical approach. They'll settle down.

Not the best of starts, I was hoping KY would come out and really take it to Ark. We are going to have to keep the score to within 5 at the half and then let Tubby make his halftime adjustments.

Wow--Not at all what I expected. Modica getting open 3's and KY just not having any offensive flow...UK needs to get this one back and soon or Ark may run out to a lead that will be impossible to catch.

Surely the Kentucky players and coaches understand how important this game is. Kentucky can not afford to lose another home game.

The offensive effort is pathetic and that is being kind. It is time to step up and have a gut check. There is no excuse not to play any better than this.

I am shocked. At the lack of energy. At the poor defense. At the poor decisions. I am shocked that a team on the bubble, with the proud tradition of KY would come out on national TV and play like they don't care. I will be more shocked if Tubby does not kill this team at halftime and we'll see KY make a run.

It is perplexing. The lack of on court leadership and the lack of one really great player. You usually win when you have the best player on the court, looks to me like Ark's top 3 are the best players on the court, scary thought.

Yeah, I'm denying that 18-6 with 3/4 of the game left is a blowout.

30-15 with 24.5 minutes left is a different issue. That's a blowout.

What's the difference? The rate of recovery for one is 60% higher. That's pretty significant, I think.

This is a really good point. We NEED P. Patterson. The kid is an absolute stud, and very underrated. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move up to a 5 star ranking. This game could kill our shot at him.

I guess I"m in the middle on this argument. The offense is fine with talent that can score but honestly, KY has 3 kids than can score consitently against top of the line D-1 defenses, Bradley, Morris, and Joe. Rondo can but does not shoot the ball consistently enough to be consistent.

At times when you are angry just think of more important things like family and friends. ;)

I see your point, but honestly, I can only think of two times in the last eight years that our offense looked effective. The first was in 98, when we were still basically playing with the "Pitino" offensive sets. The second was in the undefeated SEC run, when we had Hayes and Daniels, two exceptionally gifted interior passers, whose play seemed to mesh into the offensive scheme. Other than those two periods, our team has always seemed to struggle offensively and has been notorious for long scoring droughts and low scoring games. Tubby will not be fired anytime soon, but I really wish that he would bring in an "offensive coordinator," much as Billy Donovan has done to shore up Florida's defense in recent years. Otherwise, the situation will never improve.

Right. Oddly enough, it's Arkansas who is getting out on the break and getting transition points.

I think this is a very winnable game.....it just starts with stopping Arkansas from getting good shots and having a little poise on offense.
