what if billy doesn't except the job...how will the uk fan base react to him when he comes to rupp next year...or how will flordia fans treat uk when we play there..it's a media monster now and there's no way to hide it...

Not a big deal.

People move on.

I personally can't fault the guy if he wants to stay in Gainesville.

We WILL get a great coach.

if he does come, will there be a bigger parade in lexington than in gainesville or colombus?

I read an article Saturday that said that there were actually 5 teams in the Final Four this weekend: Florida, Ohio State, UCLA, Georgetown and Kentucky. It said that there was as much or more talk about UK at the Final Four than the otherteams. We are definitelygetting the national exposure.

Here's hoping that Billy makes a statement after the game that gives us a clue to his future. Hopefully they win so Bonnie doesn't pull another Roy Williams interview.

If Florida wins, will it delay a decision a few more days as UF will have a parade in Gainesville?

I would actually have to say that if he turns UK down I would have even more respect for him. Especially if he stays at Florida a while after and doesn't go pro. Shows me what the man values like family, friends, relationships, and loyalty. I definitely won't fault the guy if he stays.

That being said, I still would like to see him come out of the home locker room at Rupp next year.

I'll root for my school, thats as far as it goes. I won't take part in the glory. (provided they win)

The University of Florida is about to complete its lunar eclipse of all things major in college sports.

Nice post, scfcats. Too, I feel the same. Also, naturally, I would LOVE to seeDonovan come out of the HOME locker room at Rupp next season AS the UK baskeball coach, of course (not merely as Pitino entered that first time back at Rupp ).
