"Billy Is Coming to UK" Threads

I'm starting to get REALLY ticked off by people posting threads that say Billy Donovan is coming to Kentucky that do NOT have what we all want, a link to a reliable news source.

SO, I would be forever grateful if you're going to post a thread like that, please post the source of your rumor, or even indicate that it is a rumor, underneath the subject line in the 2nd box. I'm sick of clicking on links looking for exactly what we all want to hear, only to find out it is a one post wonder trying to spoof us, or is a rumor, at best.

And when our answer finally does pop up on the internet, please post the source of the defiinite answer in that same 2nd box.

Please keep your Kentucky fan brethern sane people. Disclose your source on the subject line.

Or at least post that it is a Rumor only- being reponsible to your fellow Kentuckians. Really, I dont want to know sources. I dont want to be the reason someone gets into trouble or puts a deal into jeapordy. I do want revelations after it is over though.... :D

You might be right, but it is possible that a credible leak could occur at any time. That kind of thing does happen.

The only sources the media have are the ones in which say he is staying at UF. That is because he is at UF right now and it would be idiotic for his father or Rick to say, "UK is where Billy wants to be and he is excited to get there!"

Tom Leach isn't going to make a public statement that says it is and has been a done deal. Not going to happen.

If you believe 100% of what the media has told us...then no, MB has not contacted Billy D. Why should we believe what the media tells us about who has contacted whom at this point? Maybe MB made the offer already...maybe he didn't. We don't know anything until an officialannouncement.....no matter what the media says.

The information claiming that Donovan has not been in contact with the University of Kentucky, nor has Donovan's agent, came from none other than Donovan himself last Thursday.

Here is how I think it will happen. Billy will either announce on Tuesday or Wednesday that he is not interested and ask us to go elsewhere or it will drag on until next Monday or Tuesday before it is announced that he is coming to UK. The only way UK lets it go that long is if there is a really, reallygood chance of landing Mr. Donovan. In other words we could get a no pretty quickly but I think there is some work to do and some time involved in getting a yes. 80/20 we get Donovan. Either way we will end up with a good coach and UK will once again ascend to basketball glory!
