It's funny how Suk fans even bother talking about our football schedule when they know the exact same argument will get thrown in their face when basketball rolls around. Here is the difference though. At least we were blowing our "weak" competition off the field. Your luck is about to run out kitties. You are 6 points away now from 9 losses....and to sucky teams at that. I will admit we have a lot of growing to do, but it's pretty comical how you guys were talking Championships when Morris got back. Hmmm, I remember hearing that smack during our football season. You all suck just as bad if not worse than we do. Play somebody and you will find out. Let's see here, up next for UofL....@ #6 Villanova. Up next for Suk......@ #126 Mississippi State. :rolleyes:

In other news I think we just picked up another 4 star recruit. I don't know, I lost count. How's that football recruiting smack shappin up? Didn't think so.:lol:

The big difference is UK fans are not happy with the success of this team and never made the claim that the SEC was a tough conference. NoKnee has spun basketball season into football smack and talks about cupcakes? Come on dude, the last smack UL should be talking is cupcake. Is our schedule the nation's toughest: no. You won't hear that from our fans. If you can tell me that you are content with losing to Rutgers in Pitino's fifth year then I guess you see something the rest of the country doesn't.

No I am not content with that. Although I am content with a FinaL four in his fourth year. As badly as uk fans would like to skip over and forget about last year, it's not going away. We will see two Final Four's and a Championship before uk see another FF. Write it down. Somebody PLEASE PLEASE put my quote in their sig. I DARE you!

No, I'm not content losing to Rutger's or St. John's or UK for that matter. Those are three games we should have won, but I am also not naive enough to think that we were going to coast through the Big East.

One thing that does give me hope is that we have not been blown out in any loss this season. I know, a loss is a loss, but for this young team to play that close to some of the better competition on the schedule tells me we aren't as far away from being good as many think.

It may not be until next season, but hey... :P

That's a fair and honest assessment. I still can't understand why UL gets a youth pass while UK doesn't. Four of our top seven players are sophomores. Youth is overrated incollege hoops.

UKfans, this is just Noknees's lame way of dealing with the fact that his Cardinals are facing the real possibility of not making ANY tournament this season, be it the Big East, the NCAA's, and if they keep going, maybe not even the NIT. He has no defense for it so he does the only thing he knows how to do..come up with lame put down of UK and tried to turn the focus away from Loserville. He should know about cupcakes:

That "play somebody" line has been around since Denny first came on board, and it's even weaker now than when it first started. Especially when you guys can't even hold a lead against a school known more for it's academics than it's basketball prowess..and spare me any comments about who the Cardinals have played and lost to and who those teams have beaten..like we're supposed to be impressed that other teams did what you couldn't do..:rolleyes:

FACT: Since Pitino won Tubby's Championship in 98, Stubby has yet to make it back to the Final Four. Where has the magic gone????

Wow, that's some magic. You guys must have lowered your standards tenfold. Stubby has averaged a Sweet 16 since the Championship Pitino won for him. That's pretty magical. Make it back to the Final Four and then talk.

according to warrennolan.com (i'll post the link later if needed) our strength of schedule ranks 20th. while, ul's comes in @ 58th. uk's opponent winning percentage is 61% while ul's is 56%. THESE ARE FACTS.......they tend to win an arguement. time to find something new noKnee....

If UL happens to not make the tournament this year will you still be happy with that one final four? One final four and then an NIT the very next year. how many did we have before that 8 years? Your argument makes no sense and it is because you don't have a leg to stand on. UK went to at least 3 three final fours and won two NCAA championships in the same time frame that UL went to one final four so the stats are not in your favor and I am rounding only because I don't feel like really looking up the complete facts because that would only make you look worse.

UK hasn't been in 8 years but at least we have 10 years to make it up and your stats have already been set in stone.
