Richards has acknowledged consuming a raft of illegal substances in his time, but this may top them all. In comments published Tuesday, the 63-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist said he had snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine. http://us.bc.yahoo.com/b?P=KUdyJUSOwhWFFWufRcSc_A7iSFO4T0YS6E4ABukr&T=19h bgtgr3%2fX%3d1175644238%2fE%3d85527274%2fR%3dnews% 2fK%3d5%2fV%3d2.1%2fW%3dH%2fY%3dYAHOO%2fF%3d376197 8546%2fH%3dY2FjaGVoaW50PSJuZXdzIiBjb250ZW50PSJJdDt pdDtyZWZ1cmxfZjUwM19tYWlsX3lhaG9vX2NvbSIgcmVmdXJsP SJyZWZ1cmxfZjUwM19tYWlsX3lhaG9vX2NvbSIgdG9waWNzPSJ yZWZ1cmxfZjUwM19tYWlsX3lhaG9vX2NvbSI-%2fQ%3d-1%2fS%3d1%2fJ%3d2547BFD1&U=13b47lnsn%2fN%3dh2neMdG _fyg-%2fC%3d574812.10125315.10855514.1442997%2fD%3dLREC %2fB%3d4390827"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as saying by British music magazine NME.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive.

Keith has proven time and time again that he can survive things that would have destroyed lesser men. In fact....

....one wag once said that, should there be a nuclear holocaust, only cockroaches and Keith Richards would survive.

Damn. And I thought Ozzy was over the top for snorting a trail of ants.

Man, I love "Keef"...how could you not? I used to love the "SNL" bit where Mike Meyers and some other cast member would portray "Keef" and Ronnie Wood. You couldn't understand a word they said but, they staggered and stumbled around and laughed at themselves, a lot, and generally looked as though they were really enjoying themselves. Hilarious! Can't wait to see him in the newest "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie...it's been said thathe'll play Captain Jack's (Johnny Depp-yummy;)) father...which, IMO, is perfect casting!

The SNL skit I remember had Myers playing Mick Jagger and Mick Jagger playing Keith.

Whether he did it or not; I still love the 'Stones!!! I went to the concert in Louisville; my first time to see them "live"; they are phenomenal!!!! Just watching Keith was a trip in itself. You can tell that the whole group genuinely enjoys what they do. No wonder they have survived as a band this long.

Long Live The Rolling Stones!!!!

:cool:It's been my pleasure to see The Stones nine times, the first being Knoxville 1972...after the concert I drove all night to northen Kentucky, put on my short-hair wig and went to my Army Reserve meeting....I've seen them outdoors in Ames, Iowa, Denver and Boulder (3 times)...the last three times have been indoors at McNichols Arena (Paint It Black shook the building) and twice at the Pepsi Center in Denver....greatest rock n roll band in the world.
