nice of you to join us..can't wait to see you after your upcoming road loses to Fla and Tenn.., yeah I know you won't be here for that and the mods will be warning us about teasing poor kitties during their tough time like they did last time you all dropped some games.

Welcome to the big time Cards fans! Isn't that what you wanted? You stuck out your chest for the past 2 years promoting the arrival of the Big East and now it's here and you can't hang!! Not even in football much less basketball. Your conference is tougher than the SEC, but your preseason OOC schedule sucked and did not prepare you for this part of the season. Now you are looking at the NIT!! It's tough up here with the big boys, isn't it? BTW have you heard Tubby use injuries (Sims, Crawford), youth(sometimes we have 4 sophs on the court in Rondo, Crawford, Bradley and Morris) or inexperience one time this year. He didn't even use the fact we were without Morris for the first half of the season as an excuse. Stop with the excuses and the tough conference crap and just accept the fact UL is no good!!!

you've gotta be kidding me....where did i say anything about a conference schedule???? i was referring to the WHOLE schedule. like i said our loss to IOWA looks better to the selection comitee than ANY of your out of conference wins. THAT'S PATHETIC!!!!!!!! rick my man you know i respect you. but, your WAY off on this one.

Let me also throw this in. I keep hearing from UL fan's how much harder they've had it than us as far as scheduling. We know you guys aren't as up to date with the whole basketball thing so I'll help you out. There are TWO parts of a basketball schedule. The out of conference and the conference. The schedule you guys have played out of conference is GARBAGE. The conference schedule is murders row.

Now, with that being said, if you guys would have played our schedule this year you could have lost three out of conference games like we have and STILL be considered for the NCAA's. I'm not saying they are out of it now. But, if you'd have played ANYONE besides UK OOC you could have 2 more losses and STILL be in better shape then you are now. just look at what michigan state did a couple of years ago. get off the schedule crap. that arguement is just NOT THERE!!!!

How Pitinoesque of you to change the topic to the conference rather than the total schedule.

UL Basketball in the Big East is like UK Football in the SEC. You can say that you got beat by the best... but in the end, you got beat! If it weren't for that pathetic non-conference schedule you'd be lucky to be above .500 right now.
