Stevenson has the better ground game and could get a submission or a choke hold to end it. But, the Young Assasin haas the knockout punch. With the thin gloves they wear, quick knockouts are not uncommon.

Not surprising, I guess. I watch the IFC matches that get broadcast on Channel 4 on Monday nights.
I've seen lots of high school and div. 1 college wrestling, so I like to see wrestling as the foundation for the fights. I enjoy the Brazilian techniques as well. I know a couple of cage fighters, former wrestlers having picked up more kicking and boxing skills to get their wins.
Can't explain why I enjoy the fights of this type, I just like to see the styles fighting combined to good effect.

Reasons to like MMA over boxing:
Ths diversity of styles, where no matter how great a fighter is, he could lose because of a bad matchup against a different style ( ie, a stand up striker vs. a ground/submission specialist )
The rules. Knees and elbows are allowed, as aare chokes and submission holds.
The 5 minute rounds. They last long enough to really have something happen. Couple that with the razor thin gloves and the chance of a KO is exponentially increased.
The sport hasn't been taken over by organized crime like boxing. At least not publically, anyway.
The fighters in MMA are truly the toughest fighters in the world.
