Now, I do not want to be negative at a time when we all should be being positive that MB is going to find the best fit for the job. But, with that being said.

I want to hear from all you "Rumor" starters that had been posting for 2 weeks about my buddy "Ron", "a source", a resturant owner, a flordia booster, my real estate agent, my uncles friend that owns a horse farm, and I could go on and on butI'll stop there. I said, that I would eat my wordsif everyone wasright about these rumors but it looks as if all the good people that you guys had so much faith in have been misinformed about the so called "done deal". So now we all have mud on our face for being nieve enough to think that Billy D had already packed up the family and headed out of Gainsville.

Im sure I will catch some flack for this post but I got so tired of hearing all the rumors everyday that I had to get that off my chest.

Maybe this will serve some people a lesson that never count you chickens before they hatch:beer:

There were a lot of really dumb rumors all over the internet not just here. These are not unlike recruiting rumors...Iv'e told people to always use these are entertainment not as fact. The only thing I know as fact is that Ky will hire a coach, he will be well compensated and will have the facilities and support to do well at KY

Some of the rumors were crazy, but I liked reading them for what KapitalCAt said...."Entertainment" value only.

Most people would like to be the ones who get the scoop on everybody and say they know form a "source"....heck I wish I knew someone who I could consider a "source", but up here in Indiana not gonna find too many.

But all I can hope is that we can get behind who we hire as coach and just move on. This is an exciting time, the rumors keep the excitement going when the news is slow.I personally am pulling for Gillispie, but will support whoever we pull in.

Cant wait to hear some GOOD rumors about him.:thumbup:beer:

What's the point? Humiliation? We want to humiliate people for giving out rumors?

I think that people who just spouted off rumors just do start up conversation should be upset with themselves, sure, but people who were genuinely passing a long what they heard or believed a rumor and thought Billy was going to come to UK, I think we should just call it, "getting excited about the moment." No need to give them a dunce hat or anything.

I, for one, took the rumors for what they were: Rumors. They were fun for me.

I guess they were fun or I wouldnt have kept reading them but, you cant say some were just plain ridiculous. I was entertained for a couple days but everyday it was sumthin differnt and it began to get annoying to me. Thats JMO but, I cant wait until we hire a coach so then we can restore our program back to prominance.

They were fun because they were ridiculous.
