Things are heating up, and the Vic versus Kavenaugh showdown is getting closer.
Good stuff...maybe one of the best shows on television right now.

Amen! That was a close call last night when Kavanaugh showed up. Very good show.

I thought Vic lingered around on purpose, to plant a seed of doubt in Kavenaugh's mind.

Yes. It rang, he looked at it, turned off the ringer, then "drew down" when Kavenaugh came into the room.
Turning up the heat!

Does anyone know if this is indeed the last season? If so, things could really get interesting.

damn I hope not although THIS doesnt sound good...
"The return to the show's roots has prompted speculation that the show is heading into its last season, and Ryan did little to dispel that notion during a recent conference call with reporters. Although he won't say for sure that the show is ending, Ryan said it is on ``a path that is heading toward a conclusion....
``It is important that we end it right,'' he said.
Toward that end, The Shield has been making 21 episodes this season, far more than usual, although the airing of those episodes will be drawn out.
Eleven will air consecutively, followed by a two-month hiatus, then the airing of the remaining 10 around January 2007."

Eleven weeks... plus 8 week hiatus.... plus 10 weeks...
We're 4 weeks now in so that would be
7+8+10=25 weeks
In 25 weeks.... it will be July.
That report makes no sense.......

wow...that was intense. It was hard to decipher from the preview just what will happen next week in the 90 minute finale...they said "you knew there would be a finale like this..." Any ideas, feelings? I for one will be devastated if and when this show ends, just like I was with NYPD Blue...
Shane..."where have you been?'
Vic..."I had an ex-wife thing." Brilliant.

Is Kavenaugh gonna get his revenge on Vic's ex-wife? Wow.

It looked like that maybe Kavanaugh was going for Vic's wife. I hate that it's the finale soo soon. I feel so bad for Lem too.
I will say one thing. It's a good thing that they have it rated TVM.
