From everything I have been able to read about Billy G, he is going to fit right in at UK. He is a workaholic that has a little problem controling the urge to drive when he is drinking. His desire to win consumes him so much he and Bill Self racked up 20 minor recruiting violations together according to one Ilinois' fan site. He wants the limelight of the Uk job and will probably want a NBA coaching job in about 5 to 7 years.

All in all, just about a perfect fit and that is a big reason I predicted it to happen. He will have UK back in the elite 8 and maybe even higher in about three seasons. He will get his share of good recruits no matter what it takes.

I don't think you should be throwing those DUI charges around since you all had a Drunken Driver on your coaching staff untill this year.

Sounds good to me!Since every other basketball program in the nation does everything it takes. If you think for one minute that just about everyother college doesn't do everything it takes to get recruits then you need to think again.

I just don't like the fact that we got a coach with 5 tournament appearances and a single Sweet 16 under his belt. I don't understand why everybody is so happy.

5 tournament appearences and how many yearshas be been a head coach? He has taken both UTEP Freakin UTEP and Texas A&M to the NCAA Tournament.

He has been a head coach for 5 years and has gone to the NCAA tournament three of those five year.

He has been to the tournament as many times as Rick Pitino in the last 5 years.
