This is from none other than Clark Francis:

"We also believe that it's only a matter of time before 7'0 Soph Randolph Morris, who is all set to start attending classes today, is reinstated by the NCAA to play at least part of this season at the University of Kentucky. And, if this happens, the Wildcats just might be the team to beat in college basketball this year. Remember, the Wildcats will have a strong nucleus of guards, including 6'1 Soph Rajon Rondo, 6'3 Soph Joe Crawford, 6'3 Soph Ramel Bradley, and 6'1 Sr Patrick Sparks; and some good inside players, including 6'7 Jr Sheray Thomas, 7'3 Jr Shagari Alleyne, 7'1 Jr Lukasz Obrzut, and probably Morris, all back from a team that lost in double-overtime in the NCAA Regional Finals to Michigan State. And don't forget Tubby Smith has been second to nobody in college basketball as a coach in recent years and the Wildcats also landed 6'8 Rekalin Sims from Salt Lake (JC) UT, who was ranked as the #1 junior college player in the nation by the HOOP SCOOP. Another reason why we're thinking about making the Wildcats our pre-season #1-ranked team is the fact that 6'0 Frosh A.J. Price and 6'2 Marcus Williams both have been suspended due to off-the-court problems at Connecticut."

I bet it really chafes Ville Fan to have a writer in his own back yard picking the Cats as the best team in all the land...

Personally, I love it when the Cats are picked #1. The last time that happened, Little Ricky knocked them down a peg or two. It also makes it more enjoyable when a lower seed knocks them out. (By the way, when did Morris grow to 7' tall? The NBA teams had him at 6'9", didn't they?)
