There's been so much negativity lately, among the press, which doesn't really bother me, butsome of the hatefulness i see on the boards really is discouraging. I firmly believe it is a privilege to be a wildcat fan, and an honor to represent us at rupp, or the other arenas. I hope other fans will join me in wishing that our fans will all do us proud next year...please don't boo or taunt needlessly...lol...i admit some players deserve it....but I hope we can be known for good sportsmanship as much as spirit. I hope we all can support our team and our coach, and each other, after all, I think we were all raised that way :DIf not, fake it, lol.

Thanks for the post, kydingbat. Too, I LOVE your moniker. In fact, it would have probably worked well for me! :lol:

Also, I had similarly posted last night about my concern for the borderline "hatred" (which you refer to as "hatefulness")I was seeing during an exciting time for us Wildcat fans. Like you, I don't plan to "boo" anyone, but only want to cheer on my Wildcats. :D

Now I won't agree that our players sometimes "deserve" to be booed, though, although I do understand what you had actually meant. Naturally, sometimes the play is going to be discouraging or frustrating, but a Wildcat never deserves to be booed by us Wildcat fans, or at least as long as he is behaving properly. Again, though, good post and good point. :)
