Billy G. and our "usual" rivalries

i'm curious to see how Billy G. is going to tackle our "usual" rivalries...by that i mean Indiana, North Carolina, Tennessee......we already know he's got Pitino's number....

kind of cool to think about....i think Billy G. will be an absolute bulldog on that bench....and i'd put a dollar on the fact that he will get a "T" at some point in the season....as odd as it is to say, i'd like to see some of that passion on the UK sidelines...let it rip Coach, let it rip!!!!:thumbup

I had thought about this too. It would be fun to see if he finds some kind of gaudy blazer to match that ugly one Bruce Pearl wears. I think he knows that the rivalry games are going to be big games to win, and he'll be pulling out all the stops to make sure we do.

Funny you should say that. A guy that works for me that is a Indiana fan and he has already predicted that Indiana will whip UK by 60 POINTSnext year and was willing to put money on it.Igladly took that bet,UK can win or loose and I've still won some money, even ifwe do loose. I couldn't beleive it when he said that.

That's crazy. It's highly unlikely a prominent D1 team loses by 60, yet along UK.

i doubt Billy G. will do anything that lame....i think Bruce Pearl is a passionate coach, but it just seems like he's reachin'.....IMO

i think Billy G. will have tunnel vision with W's and that's all that matters to me....wear a blue tie with your suit and a UK windbreaker off-court and rack up the W's and banners, that's all i need to see;) :thumbup

oh man, that place will be a snake pit this season....it's been a while since they've played at bloomington....and we dished it out pretty heavy at Lexington....let's hope Billy G. gets his first IU "W" this season:thumbup

Hey - this is KENTUCKY. This is not the sideshow that Tennessee has become. I am beginning to come around to the idea that Pearl is in fact, as some mentioned on this board last year, a flash in the pan. He lucked out with Lofton - we'll see how he does after Lofton is gone.

You're probably right. I had to jump on that bet when he started throwing the money out there.

60 points, dang UK could loose by 59 and I still won the bet. Now that I think about it, I'm starting to worry. The guy was drug tested before he got hired. What would you have to betaking to make a statement such as that, let alone bet money on it?

amen to that...it pains me that UNC has a winning record over us...UConn does too....not many still active teams do though, not Duke, KU, IU, UCLA....

ironically Tubby is the only UK coach to have a winning record against UNC....not even Rupp
