I was reading over at theA Sea of Blue website. I like that place and it is where I eventually stubled across WCN, so I thank them for that.

The top of their page has an article/blog posted about other teamsboards (Texas, Michigan, Louisville, etc.)and their reaction to our new hire of Billy Clyde.

And in this blog/article: http://www.aseaofblue.com/story/2007/4/9/85221/60113

are some good things and reactions to the hire.........and then you read what was posted on one Louisville board and all I can say is it is not so good.

The link to the Cardinals board is below and the entire blog for A Sea of Blue is up top.

But man it took those redbird guys no time to come up with some crap to spew against us. Amazing, but I guess I shouldnt be surprised. I just wanted to see what you guys think about it.

For what it is worth, A&M has one of the best Agricultural schools in America. In addition, if they think that their kids are going to school to be rocket scientists, the are sadly mistaken.

If Card fans are saying it, it's probably not worth listening to. Not all are like that, but enough that I just ignore them.

I think they are just mad that our Coach knocked them out of the tournament.

That's funny. hahahahahha.....I love how clowns like this blogger throw their harsh criticisms around like they are fact. This guy knows very little about what he speaks about. Which makes him foolish and less meaningful than one of my dingleberries. I love how they keep bringing up the no experience and no Final Four trips for BG. Well how many Final Fours did Pitino or Smith have before they came to Kentucky???

Anybody that knows anything, should know that Kentucky makes coaches who they are, not the other way around. (Adolph Rupp not included)

I stand by the belief that BG was choice 1a right behind Donovan. Why else was nobody offered the job? Just because they were asked about it and said they wouldn't go doesn't mean crap. Mitch didn't give guys such as Pitino or Crean the time of day. He identified his man way before the Donovan thing ended, or else there is no way to explain how it only took 18 hours from Donovan saying "no" to naming BG as our next coach.

And to top it off, the guy starts his article by saying he may only be telling half the story about BG, but thats ok because it's being used against Kentucky fans....hahaha....what a joke this guy is. Sounds just like a little brother in my opinion. Making up stuff and fibbing to mommy so big brother gets in trouble for picking on you.

I'll be sure to print that article out the next time I have to take a dump.

Didn't Pitino take Providence to the Final Four with our man Billy D?

Yea, you are right, but still --- when did FF trips become a prerequisite for signing a coach. Look around at coaches that have won NCs and tell me how many had FF trips at their previous coaching positions. Bet there isn't that many.

They don't even list their players' majors on their athletics web site.

I agree. Their argument is all wrong.

I love the fact that Cardinals fans are bashing him and us...cause when we play them next season, and the score board proves who is still t he king of the state, they will feel humilated...again.

I assume -- and I haven't read the stuff over on the Louisville board, nor do I intend to -- that they're talking about Saul's car wreck three or four years ago. Apparently he hit a light pole on Richmond Road or somewhere and rumor was that he was intoxicated. Yet as far as I know he was never charged with DUI. Unless those folks know something I don't, it's just speculation.

Here's the thing about that, though:

You'd have to be OBSESSED with Kentucky to even know about that incident. That was such a miniscule thing because (again, to my knowledge) it never went to court that you'd have to skim the UK boards fervently and remember every detail.

It's those people -- and we have them on our side, too -- who are so obsessed with their rivals that scare me.

It's a rivalry. It's sports. I swear it's like we're dealing with starving infants or something as seriously as people take this stuff. To take an innocent person's name and drag it through the muck like that is the work of a deranged individual. I don't care what side you're on.

See, I didn't even know about that. Thanks Will.

If the Louisville fan who wrote that article wants to hear a BIGGER load of bull****, all he has to do is read the aforementioned article aloud.
