Midnight Madness Questions...

Hey all!! First off, I have never been to a Midnight madness or even a Kentucky game. I have never even set foot in Rupp Arena!!! Well, I do believe this is the year to change all of that.

I have a feeling Madness tickets are going to be even harder to get this year. I understand that the tickets are free. What is the limit you can get...2..4..?? I live near Columbus,Ohio, and I have thought about coming down and camping out in line to get the best seats I can. Where exactly are the tickets given out? How early should one be there to be assured of good seats.? 24 hrs in advance..12 hrs..?? Earlier!!?

I am sure that it will be talked about more on here the closer we get to October, but if I need to come down a couple days in advance, I'd like to start planning now. Anyone know exactly what day (or night)Madness will be on this year? I want to go ahead and ask for vacation time now. Thanks for any and all advice you can give me. I am REALLY looking forward to it!

It isn't really Midnight Madness anymore...now Big Blue Madness. It should be on 10/12 this year. Door will open in the early evening and the Men's team will be introduced after the Women's team, probably around 9pm.

Tickets generally go on sale 10/1 and are like $2 for a process fee on ticketmaster or you can camp out at Memorial the night/week before and get them without the processing charge. You are also more likely to be assured lower arena seats by camping out.
