Wow, I just got my Courier-Journal 2005 College Football Special Section. Full page colored pictures of Bush and Brohm. But Kentucky did make the front page. Look down at the very bottom of the page on the left, and there is a small UK logo, with the mini headline, "Nowhere to go but up", Page 6.:lol:

"Elite" that is the funniest thing I have heard in a long long time. You guys have a couple of good seasons and you think you are "Elite." The head swelling will be over soon young man and soon you will learn what all card fans have over the past50 years eventually UL falls back into place (the cellar) after a BRIEF rise. But have your fun for this year because after that my friend it will be time for your fall and then you will be on here talking about how Pitino sucks and he is too old for the game (Likethe all mighty Crum)and you will be talking about whoever the football coach you all get next since Pitrino will be gone after this year for an "Elite" program.

This is what the uk fans are using to "buy time". All they can hang on to is "Petrino/Pitino/Jurich won't be there forever." Fact is, #1, you have absolutely no clue how long any of them will be here, and #2, you better pray they stay around for a long time. Jurichs' choices have only gotten better and better with each passing coach.

Keep clinging on for dear life in hopes that they all leave soon. I understand, it must be terribly painful for you guys. It's pretty sad when you would rather see us fail than uk win. I don't need to hope for UK to win we have been doing that long before you were born. As far as all of them leaving I never said that I said Petrino will be leaving and that is fact the guy has almost left every year almost. The reason he wants to leave is to be a part of an "Elite" program. As far as you growing tiresome I grow equally tiresome of UL fans thinking that they are a big time college program after one year of both major sports doing well. And I could care less if Jurich is there or not.

Your football team had a good year last year in a sub par conference and this year will probably do well again in a slightly less sub par conference. Your basketball team will be less than awesome this year because your leading scorer is gone and your best player you have left can't stay on the floor for more than five games at a time. So I think you all will be in trouble this season but hey maybe you all will make the tourney and make it past the first round which is a problem you all have had for quite a few years excluding ONE.

So you using the word elite in the same sentence as UL is sort of like me saying that gas prices are quite reasonable.
