This was a very good read. He of course got it wrong with the number of coaches there has been at UK but that is minor. Tywanna Patterson sounded like a fair-minded person and a good mother to me who is looking out for the best interest of her son. I would do that too if in the same situation.

I just don't see the advantage to waiting so long like him and Lucas are doing. All it is doing is bringing more attention to the both of them and making the Billy D., Coach Clyde and Coach K drop to thier knees to beg these kids to come. PP is a great player don't get me wrong, but what if he doesn't turn out to be a star? It sure would make this whole process seem a little rediculous IMO.

Deep down i think PP knows where he is going and has known for a little while now. If he is truely undecided i'd be very surprised. I'm just praying he's wearing blue next season... real blue that is.

I think PP and his mother are sharper than a lot of folks think. The coaching staff who recruited them for so long are long gone. They said they wanted to wait to see what happens at the respective schools involved in the chase. UK got a new coach and they committed to having us in their home this late in the process. For Coach Gillispie this is early in his process as new coach. Billy D was rumored to be leaving UK and coming here. He didn't and that is a recent event. He is now rumored to be a major candidate for not one but two pro jobs. WVU has been in the mix and now has a new coach. There has never been a doubt that Coach K would be there next year so PP waiting doesn't bode well for dUKe in my opinion. UVA? I know nothing about them or the inner workings of their program. I say it is down to a close neck and neck race between us and uF.

Thanks for the link, KapitalCat. Too, I notice that today IS Monday. I wonder if we fans will have any idea of how the meeting between Gillispie and the Pattersons has gone. As always, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
