in order to take another scrap of UK Glory in Reginald Delk...a Nephew of Tony Delk ,a member on the 1996 NCAA Champions..That's where the comparison ends..Name only..Skillls..Talent...Naaah...:tongue...
In the meantime ..poor ole Jon Huffman..another body that became expendable in the NITino system is set to be traded to Iona,,They come and they go..like sheep in the night..Only NITino knows how long they will stay..
Sort of like the Celtics under His Majesty..Waive em..Trade Em...A daily exercise...
Meanwhile up the road Billy Clyde is starting to round up a herd that is making NITino's butt hairs twitch....Yowsza...:ggrin:

Huffman wants some playing time, it was a smart move for him. I am glad you like your leftovers, enjoy them.

He was our fourth-string center, with talent equal to Jared Carter. I bet DC and DP cant WAITto play Carter.

Yep, Pitino cant recruit. Sosa, Clark, Caracter, Williams, they wont ever play in the NBA, huh. And if Lucas and Patterson dont go to UK (I know how its a DONE DEAL and all, lol), ur recruiting class isnt that amazing.

The fact is that he had surgery on BOTH of them which pretty much sums up the fact that they are bad

He's not kicking players off the team. He's simply making room.
You catch the story on Withey in the C-J the other day?

Most the players that transfered did it because of a lack of playing time, which was because of very poor defense. Huffman, Nate Daniels, Lorenzo Wade, Chad Milliard are all examples of that. Bryan Harvey is one of the few exceptions because he was a great defensive player. Tubby got less transfers because he recruited players to fit his system (play defense and slow-ball), which is better or worse depending on how you look at it. Tubby got players that cant shoot as a result (Derrick Jasper anyone?).
Rick has had a few more transfers than other schools, yes, but we havent lossed anyone that would sniff a started spot, so whats the big deal? Its much ado about nothing

Well I guess you could put Adam Williams in there too. Its not like he was going to be a starter for us. And he is the same situation as Huffman Wade and Millard. Not enough PT for the guy
