UK's $62.7 million 2008 athletic budget -- approved at yesterday's athletic association board of directors meeting -- includes a $300,000 increase in the men's basketball recruiting budget, primarily because of a change in the way its basketball coach will travel.


Now read this.

That will increase football revenue by $2.7 million and men's basketball revenue by $1.6 million.

Last year's athletic budget was $62.4 million

62.4 + 2.7 + 1.6 = $66.7 million

Is this a typo or is Uk losing $4 million dollars in TV money?

Dont you wish it was just UofL fans thinking of a national championship? Unfortunatly for UahK fans, Lunardi's a believer, as well as Katz. Where are the kitties ranked after this monster recruiting class (which is mediocre after you dont get patterson and lucas)? Oh yeah, not in the top 40. Enjoy the NIT.
