Good for him. As a Kat fan I look forward to the yearly meetings between Billy G and Pitino.
Counting the A&M victory over UL, Billy G is 1-0 versus RP.

I could care less about RP and his contract extension. I am more interested in
Billy G and what hes doing because if he takes this bunch somewhere this year, Billy G could be the next 3 and maybe only 3 million dollar man in MCB. Pitino has some talent, but they always screw themselves somehow.

Its all just proactive spin control. Word has been on the street for a while that Pitino is done in a year or two. That word gets out and hurts recruiting because it gets used by the opposition. This is simply a meaningless event that allows the recruiters to say, "Coach P signed a multi-year extension so why would you believe the rumors." The obvious answer is ...just look at what Petrino did.... sign an extension and then leave within 6-months.

Dare I say Rick might actually steal one this year vs. UK? Or could it go, 4 in-a-row at Rupp?

I think they win the game at Louisville, they are going to be a very good team this year. It will be tough to beat them at UK and I think they win at UL.

How do you get a raise for finally making the tournament. What does he get next year when they are a top ten team.

That's good for Rick. I am happy he did what he did at Kentucky, but he is a different man today. I think he still has abilities, but he greatest days have passed.
