First off let me say I'm not a UofL fan they are just not in my heart like the Cats, So I didn't really get all sweaty and my heart wasn't racing even in this highly contested game. BUT I will say it was a Very Fun and an exciting environment, Everyone in Freedom Hall knew how bad the Cards needed this one when Notre Dame went up by 3 with 11 seconds the place was pretty somber, Conversly when Dean hit that three the place Exploded. I had to feel the Notre Dame was in trouble at that point.
Even not having any vested interest in this game i was determined to not pull for Notre Dame, Just for the simple fact I know how much Karma/Good Fortune and solid play the Cats are going to need tonight. I had a great time watching the expressions on my wifes face and the range of emotions she went through pulling for her Cards, And i really was thrilled she was on the happy side of the score (after all these tickets were a Christmas Present for her.)
Just a couple of thoughts from a UK fan.
1. the official time keeper should be Very Embarrassed
2. Why in the world does Farley not play around 20 minutes a game
3. What is up with Palacious, 6-8 & 255 and can absolutley dissapear.
4. I thought McGee played pretty well he really seem to be finding his 3 point range.
5. Jenkins was a man on the boards
6. Quinn for ND is a solid little guard.

Does the official score keeper run the time clock? Just the shot clock? Does anyone know.

I agree with everything you said, that Quinn kid is unreal. I to felt for ND at the end. Those kids have lost more close games than any team in the country.
Outside of ring road and snow it was a great day, good luck tonight, I will be watching the kats tonight with my uk wife and keeping my mouth shut as well. One thing you all have going for ya is Fla has never won this game when they were favored, not that I can remember anyway.

Believe it or not I have many UK friends who will be coming over to watch the game. I behave myself when they are here because they are as die hard as I am about UofL. See, I do have a heart. They chose my house because the last game they watched here was against WVU and they played out of their minds. Well...that, and I have a 55' Mitsubishi HD wide screen with Onkyo surround sound.:dude:Here's the kicker that will drop every mouth on this board. I....Noknee.....for the WVU vs UK game....wore NONE OTHER......than gulp UK blue! Yes, I am dead serious. What can I say, I am a GOOD friend to them. I am in a very good mood right now. I may just do you guys a favor and wear that same shirt.

Does the official score keeper run the time clock? Just the shot clock? Does anyone know. There are 3 officials at the scorers table. An official scorer, a game clock operator, and a shot clock operator.
