Is that what you were talking about Matt??? I have a feeling the are going to be a lot more modest cat fans on here after that pounding your kitties took last night. As I said, "you have yet to face the thick of your schedule". "4 more losses MINIMUM". "You are FAR FAR from out of the woods". See you in the NIT.
Ready for some football yet? Prolly not.

I have already accepted this. I am merely bracing you guys for it. You lose 4 more games and you are a lock for the NIT. And with 6 tough games left, I wouldn't be planning any trips just yet.

I don't even remember the last time this happened. I don't think it was in my lifetime. It will be very strange watching from the outside.:(

While your point is credible, I'll give you that, because none of our remaining games is easy, I just can't see UK going 2-4. But, we'll see. This year nothing is a certainty.

UK is getting into that "must win" situation that UofL is in now. Can't afford too many more losses.

17 wins will get UK in on name alone. Could be a 13 seed, but UK WILL be there.

Keep thinking that. Not playing in weak conference it won't. The $EC is shaping up to only send 4 teams....MAYBE. UK NEEDS 20 wins, no question.

Still keepin' up that "weak conference" nonsense, huh? Well. you're consistent, I'll give you that.

UK will definitely be in the NCAA tourney..if they play D like they played last night, it won't be for long though. and UL still has a good chance to be there as well. all it will take is a win or 2 in the BE tourney.

At least if the worst happens, we will all be able to root for IU! ( for a game or two anyhow)

yes noKnee i still see improvement. we played a good first half. but we simply didn't show up the second half, not sure how that happens. i couldn't believe what i saw in the second half (i had to watch on tape for reasons i won't go into). but, no one would step up and take a charge against green. our defense was comical. i still like the way we shot the ball. and i love the way we passed. if this game was three weeks ago both halves would've been like the second half. i've never said we were great. but, i do think we're improving. of course that don't mean a whole lot when your improving on a season in which we suffered the two worst losses under tubby.
