Our "high school stadium" will be almost the size of yours in a few years, and our "Cream Puff Schedule" is the result of the big-bad SEC and ACC backing out of deals, or just not playing us in general. Funny how a team UK has lost to 22 years in a row is afraid to play US! Unlike UK, we dont try to schedule the worst non conference schedule possible to get guarenteed wins.

I don't think that anyone is afraid to play you guys, but why would a major SEC team play any other team in the top 25? Every teams' schedule is loaded with good games. The more you play against non-conference, top-25 teams, the more your chances are in jeopardy for a championships. We play for CHAMPIONSHIPS in the SEC, not Big East titles. In addition, I can't imagine what your stadium will look like when it is half empty and you expand it in a few years.

Why? Only a couple years ago you guys were not even selling out the current stadium. What do you think will happen when you guys get back to average? It is the same with your basketball stadium. A few years ago, you could not even sell it out, and now you are wanting to build a bigger one!

It is a clear cut inferiority complex.

A couple of years ago we were in the conference USA with nothing big to look forward to. Its hard to sellout games against ECU and Tulane. When we joined the big east both football and basketball have been sellouts. Using last season as an example, i think these games would be sellouts at the new stadium: WVU, UK, MIA, USF. I have confidence this conference will keep growing and it will lead to great things for us.

I think it will have more to do with your own success. I think the team's mediocrity a few years back is what hurt the numbers. I may be wrong on this one, but I think that you guys will be mediocre again in the near future.

Ul may become "mediocre"again in the future. The wheel does turn. When it does turn though, a whole generation of UL fans will have been planted in places never previously reached. I was in Benton, Kentucky for Mother's Day and not only did I see 3 UL license plates on cars, I saw them for sale in the Walmart store there.

Football has spread Ul fans across the state. As long as UK's administration continues to favor basketball over football, Ul 's presence out in the state will continue to grow. ( see Billy G getting $300,000 for his recruiting efforts because the inconvenience of using commercial airlines)

Your logic could not be more flawed. I have NEVER met one person stop liking UK football and start avidly following U of L football. I guess the biggest difference would be that we continue to exceed your team's attendance numbers during horrible years... You will never win on this one. Your team will always be second place.

You act as if your team has been going to these bowls for some time. You aught to take a look at your team's history before posting such shenanigans. Here is a bold prediction for you: If the Cats had this year's current team in the Big East, they would finish second or third. I would not be so braggadocios, either. You are going to have your hands full at the big boy stadium in Lexington this year.

You must have been honoring the tradition of standing out in the cold for a few days after a tough UK loss to Michigan State in 2005.http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g22/cardinal_photos/cold_21.gif I'll catch you up to date, brother. Da' Ville went to the Final Four, and Rick Pitino became the First Coach in the history of the game, to lead 3 different schools to the Final Four. The NCAA tournament has four different regions. Each Region champion goes to the Final Four. I realize that's it's been so long since UK has gone to the Final Four, you probably don't remember that they cut the nets down. If you would check my signature, in every post, you will see a reminder of that day. Glad that I could help you out. Let me know if I can help you out anytime, brother.

I guess that it has been so long since UL has won a national championship that you take whatever nets you can get.

Unless you get a piece of hardware with the net, its just another victory. I suppose that ricky went out and bought the whole team rings to celebrate making the final four. By the way, did UL even play for the NCAA title that year?

We have cut down our share of nets...the ones that include hardware.

I guess our standards for success are a lot higher at UK. We would never get so excited over cutting down a net for a regional championship that we would use the pic as part of our signature.

I hope that you enjoyed your moment in the spotlight...Lil' Bro.

The preseason rankings mean nothing. If they did, then they would NEVER change because the same team who is ranked number 1 would always win the championship. Thats why they play the game and nothing on paper matters. If it did, it would be the 4 number 1 seeds in the final four every year. But its not is it? Preseason rankings mean nothing

I think it might have something to do with our 7 titles, 25 conference titles, the fact that we have more wins than any team in history, and the fan base helps. We had more fans in Maui than you all did in Dayton, Ohio. Tradition helps, too bad you guys dont have any.

About as drunk as Pitino was when he left a Nation Title winner to coach the Celtics and then came back to coach the Bird Brains to a NO TOURNAMENT in his first season.

Or maybe it wasn't the fact that Pitino was drunk but that he had knocked up so many clam chowder eaters that he had to run out of town before the paternity tests started flying and he lost more of his dwindling hairline.

Thanks for setting me up for that one.
