Over on another board, a guy is apparantley claiming that JL is going to UF. Is there anyone who can verify this story?

it's a done deal, he heard it from one of his sources!! I hope he's not going to Florida because then we all know what happens on Wed with PP. That would be a big blow to lose both of them to UF.

The same guy who posted the message about Rivals Radio, has since posted a thread that says, "Confirmed.... its Florida or UK." This came five minutes after his initial post saying that RR had reported he was to declare UF. This tells me that there must be no validity in the first post.

That guy has used Lucas to drum up a lot attention for himself on several occasions this year by claiming he has the scoop. OK ST.... Done Deal!

I always felt PP was UF bound, I thought at times that we had a good shot at Jai though, but I believe that right now, it's pretty even between UK and UF and it could go either way...:shrug1:

Hopefully your gut steers you wrong on this one. I am typically a pessimist when it comes to this stuff as well. It usually sets up any victory as a great surprise.

Thanks Rick but I think after today, Kentucky will be in the lead for Jennings, I think Lucas is UF bound.

where have you heard Patterson is a Duke lean? I think they could be the darkhorse but everything I have heard/read says it's UK or Florida

Assuming I'm right (and others) that JL is going to UF, and given the fact JL said that after today he was going to try and convince PP to follow him (presumably to UF) then I think, just my opinion, that JL may think or know that PP is a Duke lean. I've felt KY was second or third for Patterson since the day Tubby left.

Patterson's top three choices appear to be Kentucky, Florida and Duke. Patterson is set to make his announcement on Wednesday -- the final day of the spring signing period.

Since Ive always thought UF was 1st choice for pp, I took lucas' statement to mean that he's coming to UK and would try to get pp to go there, as he feels/knows he is a UF lean

I'd rather Lucas go to Oklahoma State than Florida. Not out of spite or anything, but I think he'd thrive more there. I really think the only reason Lucas is being recruited by Donovan is to get Patterson. He's already got his point guard, and he didn't come in until the bottom of the ninth.

That makes sense to me, unfortunately. We'll know soon enough...it will be frustrating if BD can just swoop in and get this kid. Oh well he better enjoy it -- won't be happening under BCG's watch...

Let him go to Florida- I think Bradley will be much better than him next year and if we get Jennings and/or Vilrano, they both will eat him up.
