From experience, the AD and coach (high school and college) put the whole thing together along with the Parents and school staff. Once they've decided to set a date, they find the best location that can allow friends, family and if you're highly touted reporters.

At least that's how we did it with recruits. This show may be done a whole lot different.

Yes, they usually call the schools. They usually call all of them that remain on his list to tell them they are not chosen or chosen. I think this may have already been done this morning. In the past, a lot of rumors leak out this way before the recruit's press conference but as I learned with the Morris recruitment, those sources can be wrong.

I was wondering what the protocol was due to this Marc Maggard declaration... I can see this being leaked if JL did call someone, but I would not think you would be required to do so.
