If someone would have told you 6 weeks ago that we would still be in the running for many of the high profile recruits that were still unsigned, would you have believed them? Or that we would have signed one of the most sought after 2 guards in this years class? Probably not. Will Patterson come to UK? I sure hope so, but we'll be fine either way. My point is this-all this recruiting ruckus over the past few weeks is gravy. We signed Legion, and the attention that UK is getting is phenomenal. It will do nothing but help us. I wish Lucas, Hamga, and Sanchez the best, except when they're playing us of course. Everything is going to be fine because WE ARE UK.

I agree with ya. We have talent on this team. We now have a coach that can tap into the talent and take the team to the next level. Its not like we have a team of scrubs. I guarantee we will have a much better season next year by far. And all the attention we are getting will only open the eyes of recruits down the road. Thats what this program needed a boost instead of stagnant recruiting. Its all good and it wont take BCG long to make it great.:thumbup:

I agree totally folks. I think coach should save the scholly for next years class. He's got us in the running for some big time talent. I have complete confidence in him, and I can't wait to see our team on the floor next year. I believe he has the coaching ability to get every ounce of talent out of this team. I'm confident the players will take huge leaps forward in their performances, and UK will become a team that other teams don't want to step on the court against.

Lucas may have ended up at UF with or w/o OTS. Jai doesn't like the aspect of competition...he wants to be able to walk in and step on the floor immediately without anyone challenging him...

I don't like that characteristic in players that play for UK.

I think that's a characteristic of all players. If you have a chance to start immediately for the two-time defending NCAA champs, or go to a program where you will more than likely be coming off the bench your first two years, most players will go for the instant PT.

Selfishness is a big quality among these new recruits...except Legion...he is a refreshing kid.
