recruiting question

I seem to remember reading something on here right after Coach Gillispie was hired to the effect that he was recruiting Anthony McClain. What happened here? Did we feel we had better options? Was he not intrested in Kentucky? Did he sign with someone else? He seemed like a pretty good option at center to me. Rivels rated him the 6th best center prospect in this class and 43rd overall. Rise ranked him the 10th best center prospect and 68th overall.

Thanks. I had read his name on this board, but perhaps that was only fan speculation. I should have known he was too good not to have signed with someone. I wish him well and again it's time to move on.
