I saw on ESPN where he told Virginia Tech he was no longer making plans to attend due to the recent shooting. VT has yet to release him from his LOI. Has there been any talk about Augustus being a UK target? If Patterson commits to Florida, Gilchrist may be an option. At 6-9 230, he would be worth looking at.

Seems like more vague speculation than anything--kind of, if we wiff on PP, would we go after him. I think the majority thinks BCG just holds the scholly

I'm in the minority that believes we should give the scholarship to someone if we can.

We need bodies. Big ones.

I feel like '07 might be a very tough year unless we get some help down there. I don't think we're NIT-bound or anything like that, but with a couple of solid big men we could be looking at a fantastic season.

It all hinges on what happens tomorrow, I guess.
