I know this has been posted before, but I wanted to check the temperature of the board to the very minute. Where is PP going?

I would have to say UK, because of the impression Coach Clyde made.

I say UK because I am an eternal optimist

I have him going to UF... I lean more on the pessimistic side of things.

On the one hand, we're due.

On the other hand, as I said in another thread, in the lengthy recruiting battles where the recruit has his choice narrowed down to UK and some other school, "some other school" has won almost every single time in the last few years, with the exception being Randolph Morris.

So I guess I'll pick UNLV. ;)

There are a lot of grumblings this morning that it's UK, but it's mostly -- well, okay, totally -- from UK fans. Same folks who proclaimed Donovan to UK was a certainty.

I'm still thinking Florida.

exactly, only the UK fans think we still have a shot at him. Maybe they'll be right and everyone can celebrate, but I think he goes to Florida

I'm a realist and I say he goes to Florida.

I think his comments posted on KSR ("If I told you (the deciding factors) you'd know where I was going") all point to the two-time defending national champs, where his good friend Jai has signed a LOI.

I've thought Florida all along. But for some reason, I woke up this morning and decided that Patterson would sign with Kentucky.

So I clicked Kentucky.

First we got Legion. Today we get Patterson. Soon to be followed by Legion's former coach at Oak Hill, Steve Smith (who along with Legion have effectively swayed Patrick). Then we follow up by bringing in Jennings for the next class. No real info..just my own wishful version of connect the dots.

Funny I just posted a thread with this same feeling.

That would be awesome if the arena erupted in a full, all out rampage with that cheer.

Is Scratch going to be there?

I hate to say it, but he might just end up going to DUKE!!!!

According to Alex Legion he is NOT going to Duke. I do think it is Florida. It will just mean 1 more year before we rise back to power. We needed Patterson way more than we needed Lucas.

I have to say that I think he is going with Lucas to UF. I hope I'm wrong and he's in the UK blue next year, but my gut say Florida.

I'll believe he's NOT coming to Kentucky when he makes the announcement, until then I fully expect him to be a Wildcat. I'm sorry, but I've not heard a thing that makes me think Florida has the edge.

Call me the eternal optimist if you like, and if I end up being wrong, so be it, but that's my take on it.

on scouts they had article on Patterson and it says that Lucas has been recruiting Patterson hard ever since making his announcement on Monday.
