listening to the game on the radio and he just said "i don't know if any of these guys are going to play next year if they don't learn to reound". needless to say he's not serious. but, he sounds like he is @ his wit's end.
what is going on in this area????? could it seriously be the year when the only kentucky school in the tourney is from bowling green???? i never thought i'd see the day:shock::shock::shock::shock:

I say this knowing that we currently are no great prize but.........You know....it causes me to hearken back to Pitino's 5th year at UK where we were in exactly the same predicament. At the bottom of the SEC and just waiting for our NIT bid. It seems like Deja Vu all over again. Kinda creepy in fact the similarities.
Huh? In Pitino's fifth year we won the SEC tourney, and went into the NCAAs ticked off because we were only a 3 seed instead of a 2. We were a 3 seed ranked 7th, while Duke was a 2 seed in our bracket ranked 6th. We did go up in flames against Marquette, but we were hardly NIT material.
P.S.-Please don't eat me. :(

You mean that all the stuff their fans say about Pitino being on an identical time-line to the one he was on here at UK is rubbish then?
Gosh, I just assumed without looking it up that we were at the bottom of the SEC and NIT bound too. Yikes Aike..... go figure ;) I feel really silly right now.
BTW I won't eat you....I ran out of Chianti.

I feel badly about that one. Both teams need win and that four point play by Mr. Dean. That should've done trick. They are forced into a run of six period...

IS it true UL only had 1 rebound in the first half.............I watched the news I thought that is what Spinmeister said but you never know what to believe from him anymore

You are correct... I remember clearly coming from 9 down w/ about 90 seconds left and Antoine Walker doing his little shimmy.... also remember Rhodrick Rhodes missing 2 free throws to win the game in regulation...

^ no that was 1995 inthe Sec Tourney Finals in Atlanta. We lost to UNC in the elite 8 that year.
in 94 we beat #1 Arkansas in the semis in The pyramid in Memphis
