The final was one of the best baseball games I've ever watched at any level in my life. I hope most of you saw Hawaii beat Curacao in extra innings to become the first American team to win it all since our own Valley Sports team won it.If not I'm sure it will be played again on ESPN as a classic.

You're not going to believe this. I was watching the game as Hawaii tied it up in the bottom of the sixth.

Then all of a sudden, my local Montgomery ABC affiliate decided to switch to a 30 minute infomercial for DirectBuy, leaving me hanging as to what happened. At least I found your post to see how the game ended.

And, yes, I went to the station's website and read the the riot act on their "Contact Use" page. What a bunch of BOZO's. I was really ticked.

the last inning was the best, the team from Hawaii brought in the kid with the long hair to pitchand the sparks started flying, after jamming that teams best hitter(the real tall kid)for the first out, the next kid come up talking smack to the picther..bad move..The kid threw 3 of the hardest pitches for a kid that age you will ever see in your life.Needless to say the hitter fanned and the two werejawing, then hefanned the next kid for the third out.

Hawaii's tall kid came up and jacked it out of the park for the win...GREAT GAME,GREAT FINISH.
