This is not about Florida, but about the players to come to play for them.
It is my feeling if a coach leaves before a freshman ever takes the court, so should the recruit be required to stay?? Not about BD, not about Lucas. Just everyone that this has happened to.
If the coach can up and leave after promising the recruit he would stay and coach him, why should not the player be able to walk and find another school??
Just not fair to me.

In effect a player can. they do have to be released by the school, but it is rare that a school wouldn't release a player in a situation like this. Makes the school look bad if they don't.

I understand that, but the NCAA should make it automatic as if the recruit never signed in the first place.

If I remember correctly, BD was contacted by pros before lucas signed with uf.
