Lucas said he is waiting to see who the new coach is, but for now is 100% Florida. Said if he didnt want to play for the new coach it would be between UK and OSU. Also said he has been watching UK to see if they sign a PG.

interesting. I think he ends up staying because they will get a good coach in there.

Thanks, Rick. Good info.
Other sites (one in particular...well, one guy in particular) aren't going to like this information. They guessed, in an attempt to appear to have the "scoop". And, well, they guessed wrong.

Will keep saying it... You dont chose your school because of the coach. It can help but it cannot be the whole reason. Kids do it and end up miserable even when the coach stays.

They are also spending a lot of time here posting links to their site.
Matt did mention what you are saying on his show.

Not that I do not trust Jai to tell the truth, but Matt spoke with Jai about a million times before he committed to Florida. Jai is a very polished interview. I think Matt thought he knew Jai, but I am not sure that Jai ever really told Matt very much, but rather simply made for an interesting interview.
The kid is to political for a 17-18 year old for my taste. Sooner or later you got to let your heart speak, I've yet to see it in this kid.
We are in on a lot of future point guards. Maybe he's not getting the call or calls he thought he would.
My thoughts only.

You don't choose your school completely because of the coach, I'd say. But it's definitely part of the decision.

I totally agree. I think it is actually a huge part of the decision and obviously should be.
