They could do a better job of getting the word out about this, plus dates like the Blue-White game, more in advance. As soon as these dates are decided, they should be posted. Surely they have picked this one by now. :confused:

It has been the second sat in august for some time now..wish they would hold it in the evening but they like to do it in the heat of the day..Aug 11 is the 2nd sat so I would look for it to be that day..

Don't you know? That's the best way to hold the crowd down. You don't actual want to pump football up too much do you? It might actually overshadow basketball for one day. :icon_lol:

I have sent many suggestions to the athl dept about how to promote Football and Fan Day..some have been addressed but not nearly enough to get the attn that the football team warrants..Have it sat evening and more people can come..Many would tailgate..Open the souvenir stands and season ticket stands..Lower prices on concessions..Have a fireworks display after it is over..they did that when morriss was here and it was very nice..The second week of August is very close to opening day and it should be all about football on our beautiful campus..I will be there no matter when they hold it..I havent missed one since 1989..Just wish they would put more effort into football marketing..
