Jus theard on the news tonight that he will take a medical leave of absense for the upcoming football season.....His assistant coach will take over for him

The longer this illness with Coach Hoeppner drags out, the more serious it seems to be. Coach Hep has always shown a tough persona but this is really a cause for concern. I really hope he is able to make it back to the sideline, he is a great coach and one I wouldn't have minded patrolling our sideline had it come to that.
