Well, I started my draft today. I been in this keeper league now for 7 years. We are allowed to keep three keepers each year. So my three keepers are:

QB - Culpepper

WR - Harrision

WR - R. Moss

I have the 4 overall pick in the odd rounds and 5 overall pick in the even rounds. For my first pick, I welcome back a player that I had on my team last year as well but was lucky to get back again and that was McGahee. My teams name is Kentucky Thoroughbreds. I'm known running 3 WRs and 1 RB in my lineup. But this year I might try the two RB and WR combo if I can't steall Owens in the 2nd round of my draft.

We are allowed to start:

1 QB

1 - 3 RB

1 - 3 WR

1 - TE

1 - Kicker

If I start three WRs, I'm only allowed one RB and vice versa. I will keep you all updated on my draft. It's a 4 hour time limit by e-mail.

In the second round, I missed TO by two picks. He went 3rd pick in the second round and I had the 5th pick in the second round. I did pick up Michael Vick with my 2nd round pick. Only because I'm going to use him as a trade bait to this guy that has 4 great RBs on his team without a qb. I'm going to be talking one of these three RB's that he has: Shaun Alexander, Corey Dillion, or Duece McCallister. Which one you think I should trade for?

Alexander, see posts on my thread.

Vick may not have as much fantasy value as you think, you may have to sweeten the pot to get one of the top10 running backs in exchange for him (unless of course the other guy is a Ron Mexico, I mean Vick fan)

I'll let you know how the trade talks go. The guy I'm talking to for trade just picked up Kerry Collins. But he definitely wanted Vick though he said. Anyway, in the third round I picked up Issac Bruce. Pretty much I think my WR is set. Bruce will be a nice backup to Harrison and Moss. I think in the 4th round I will pick up Crumpler or Shockey for my TE position and then in the 5 round pick up either Fred Taylor or Chris Brown for RB and then in the Sixth round pick up my one and only kicker I ever had since he has been in the NFL Sabatisan Janikowski. My favorite kicker. I might move him up to the 5th round though and move Fred Taylor and Chris Brown to the 6th round. Also, let you know, Hasselback hasn't been picked either.

no question you have strong WRs but you're in trouble if that trade doenst go through for a quality RB...good luck

Actually not that much in trouble. I can always go back to my 3 WR offense though and only start one RB. But I will be in trouble if I want to start 2 WR and 2 RB.

In the fourth round, I just picked up Crumpler for my TE position. In the fifth round I'm thinking about going for Fred Taylor or Chris Brown. Of course, Marshal Faulk is still available. maybe I should pick him up?

I dont know, Jackson supplanted Faulk as the #1 RB and the way he ran Monday night Faulk may be relegated to the 3rd down receiving back...Brown I hear is in the same situation in Tenn...Id take Taylor and hope his knee holds out. Any word on your trade?

I took Taylor and then took Sebastian Janikowski as my kicker and then Rod Garner. We decided on to wait until after the draft to talk about a trade.

Just picked up Stephen Davis. Yes, might be coming off a knee surgery but could be in rare form though.
