Unofficial visit by prospect..

It was reported and finally confirmed yesterday (CatsPause premie board) that Deon Thompson, a 6'-7" big man from California scrimmaged with the team yesterday. His Aunt lives in Louisville and he made the trip to Lexington for an unofficial visit. Witness said he was the real deal - fast, good moves under the basket and long arms. Would probably fit into the 4 spot really well. Tubby's stocking the pantry.

Do you have any other info on this guy? Is he a high school senior this year, junior? Any stats on him?

just because he was in lexington doesnt mean TUBBY is restocking

Deon came for an unofficial visit. He came to visit his aunt in So Indiana. His mom was coming. Tubby insisted Deon bring mama by.

Deon will commit before signing period.

In fact this year... we might be done before early signing period is over.

No naysayer here, but to date we have one oral commit. I will feel better when the others commit and then sign. Then, I will wait until they are on campus. :)
