Speaking of the Kick-Off Lunch, do you think there will be a similar event prior to the UL-UK game this season? I can't recall if they did the year UL snuck the early Black Coaches whatever game into the schedule a week prior to the UK game.

I attended a number of those held at the Galt House in Louisville and they were a hoot, a lot of give and take. I have to wonder also if the yearly preseason UK UL alum golf outing is a go this year as well?

I don't have a clue about that luncheon to which you're referring but I tend to skirt louevil whenever possible. Several seemingly normal residents have some kind of delusional disease that's evidently contageous and I haven't had my shots. ;)

LOL....Sorry RV, thought you may have attended the lunch before. Anyway, both UL and UK have had a pregame breakfast - lunch in the previous years, usually the Monday before the game. The year I attended in Lexington it was held at the Downtown Hyatt, in Louisville it was always held at the Galt House. Coaches, team captains and the AD's all speak and trade a few barbs.
