Three separate articles for each day of play at the camp for the USA camp, and 4 for the NBPA, with some relevant information to UK. If you want to read the articles, they're here, and you can follow the links for the later days at each camp: USA (http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=685602), NBPA (http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=685034)
The competition is as good as a camp gets, for both camps, with almost every top player accounted for between the two.
USA Camp (Warren, Woods, Monroe, Cousins, Davis, and Hopson):
Willie Warren played well offensively, shooting really well from deep, but didn't do much else, and was beaten down a little defensively by the best SGs around like Tyreke Evans. Arizona and Louisville are starting to get involved.
Tony Woods had a poor performance, getting the fewest minutes on his team in one game, and being ejected for a tantrum in another.
Greg Monroe dominated, as usual.
Damarcus Cousins gave a list of UAB, UK, UNC, Texas and Louisville, with UAB still the leader, and said he was "like a son to Mike Davis."
We're officially out for Ed Davis, who will decide between UNC, UConn, and UVA, all with good chances of landing him.
Scotty Hopson played very, very well.
NBPA Camp (Harris, Zeller, Jones, Miller, Singleton, Dunigan, Green, Steele, others)
Harris apparently doesn't play much AAU ball and so his ability isn't well known, but the Rivals scouts think his overall combination of skills, particularly his speed, can let him jump to be among the best of the 2008 PGs. He was matched against Kemba Walker, who just committed to UConn, and was the superior player in their matchup, but not over the course of the tournament. Harris was beaten off the dribble by Walker and Nick Williams, although rivals still spoke highly of his defense. His only other offers right now are Cal, Cincinnati, USC, and Florida St.
Zeller had one off game, dominated Kenny Frease and just "took over," then played had an off game against bigtime Ohio St. commit BJ Mullens. Said 2 things were revealed about him: "One, he has tremendous hands. Two, Zeller absolutely flies up the floor on both ends." He dominated Xavier Gibson (mentioned below).
Kevin Jones played well, and showed a versatile offensive game. He also impressed with his "do-whatever-it-takes" attitude and game.
Darius Miller was the "steal of the show" (rivals has weird diction sometimes), and played very well overall.
Chris Singleton had to guard Samardo Samuels, and, expectedly, was overrun. Not a very fun task.
Michael Dunigan played with a mean streak, and showed some athleticism scouts didn't see before. If I had to guess, he might move even higher in the rankings, and he has All-American potential.
JaMychal Green played with "high-energy," and was described as a "grinder."
Andrew Steele, who has listed UK for a while (yes, he is Ronald's brother), was credited with playing harder than the competition, but that's it.
The Humphrey kid brought up a few days ago shot very well.
Xavier Gibson (2008 PF, #15 at position, #44 overall) has a top four of
Florida State, Florida, Alabama and North Carolina, but we're still on him.
The article mentions that we still have interest in Andre Clark, but only for 2008.
Clarence Trent (2008 #31 PF, #95 overall) has us in his top five with Arkansas, Kansas, UConn, and Florida, but is still open to other schools.
Draymond Greene, who we retained the offer for, only gave a list of four schools, not including UK.
