(1) It isnt a secret that Rotnei Clarke will be visiting UK next weekend for an unofficial visit. The staff is trying to get his friend Willie Warren here at the same time to try and sell the notion of a package deal between the kids. The folks I am talking to close to Clarke tell me that there is a very real possibility that Clarke could make a decision while on the visit, or soon after. UK is his leader at this point, regardless of his public statements, and he hopes to bring Willie along with him. We expect to have both young men on the show again this week.

Guys, I am becoming MORE and MORE confused by the minute. :icon_confused: IF Liggins commits before next weekend, I'm assuming that means Clarke doesn't visit. HELP!!! As I jokingly said on another thread, I LOVE Billy Gillispie as a recruiter, but he is driving me crazier by the minute!!! :icon_lol: GO CATS! GO BILLY G!

P.S. Color me impressed, though, VERY impressed. :)

No more waiting around till the spring recruiting season. It's a new ballgame and the manager is ahead of the ballgame.

No more waiting around till the spring recruiting season. It's a new ballgame and the manager is ahead of the ballgame.

I essentially said just the same to Mr. Poodoo while reading the recruiting board this morning. I was saying that Coach Gillispie was just UNREAL as a recruiter (referring to all the activity with top players in future classes). He commented that we couldn't take them all, though. Then I reminded him of how many times we had been "waiting around" in the spring to sign someone, including losing out on some we had expected to sign.

I agree that those days are over. That is definitely a positive about Coach Billy Gillispie, and I'm not sure ANY coach can match his recruiting efforts.
